Barton Close

The Barton Close Development is a mixed use scheme comprising 23 dwellings and commercial premises built on a brownfield site in the conservation area between the grade 2 listed railway station and Barton Farm in the heart of Bradford on Avon.

Barton Close is a terrace of nine South facing town houses with Living Rooms and terrace gardens at first floor level take advantage of views across the adjacent park.  Midland Close is a mews court formed by five further town houses along the railway boundary and five maisonettes above business units which front onto the Frome Road.

All built to a high standard out of natural stone under slate roofs, by Donovan Construction, the houses are designed to have privacy, but using the concept of “defensible space” to allow residents to be in control of the external areas around their homes.
